The Zenless Zone Zero beta was announced today alongside the reveal of the game and what fans can expect when they complete their Hoyoverse sign up.
There are still a lot of details left to be revealed about the new game, including details surrounding how third-person combat will be shaped in the final product.
There are also questions surrounding just what kind of world ZZZ will be and whether fans should prepare for something that does not include a full open-world experience.

How Sign Up To Zenless Zone Zero Beta
The Zenless Zone Zero Private Beta is coming out in 2022 and while it doesn’t have a scheduled release date, fans can sign up right now. The good news is that the process is simple to follow and just means using the Hoyoverse website. You will also need to make sure you have an account so that you can be part of the process. To Sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero beta, head to the official website and click on the Sign Up page:
The Tuning Test sign-up event starts on 2022/5/13 at 12:00 (UTC+8), the deadline will be announced separately, so please look out for subsequent news. After completing the sign-up process, Proxies will receive a “Sign-Up Successful” pop-up notice on the sign-up page confirming they have signed up. The Tuning Test will be available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
A message from Mihoyo concerning joining the beta reads: “Once the Tuning Test sign-up closes, we’ll notify successful Proxies through email and SMS. We’ll also send the test client install package through email before the test starts, so please pay close attention to your email.”
