Where is Xur today? Destiny 2 fans will soon be starting the search for the elusive merchant.
UPDATE: Xur has been confirmed as back in Destiny 2, with Guardians tracking him down to the EDZ Winding Cover location. Xur is currently selling these exotics until Tuesday, May 17:
- Cerberus+1 Kinetic Auto Rifle
- Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon
- Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic Scout Rifle
- Graviton Forfeit Hunter Helmet
- Synthoceps Titan Gauntlets
- Nezarec’s Sin
And while we know about a few of the items he will have in stock, we won’t know the full lineup of exotics until he is discovered.
Here’s what we know so far about the return of Xur where he might be on the Destiny 2 map.
Where Is Xur Today?
Bungie never shares the location of Xur before he arrives back on the Destiny 2 map, but luckily for us, there are only a few places he can go. And while it is always possible that this could change in the future, the current season finds Xur visiting the same places.
For anyone who has already started the search, Xur will not be available to vist until Friday, May 13, at 6pm BST. After this point, the merchant will be available to find until the weekly reset. After this, Xur will be gone for the map and won’t return until the following Friday, at the same time.
Legendary Weapons and Armour Sets were recently added to the inventory, meaning there will be plenty of stuff to spend your Glimmer on. Last week, Xur was selling The Skyburner’s Oath Energy Scout Rifle, the Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon, the Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic Scout Rifle, the Moving Target Composite Stock, the Celestial Nighthawk Hunter Helmet, the Heart of Inmost Light Titan Chest Armor, and the Felwinter’s Helm Warlock Helmet.
Some of these could be purchased for 23 Legendary Shards, with others on the list expected to reappear this week. Bungie has confirmed that The Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale will be available throughout the rest of Season 16.
Bungie has confirmed that they will be making some big changes to different areas of the game during the launch of Season 17. This includes adding new content and tweaking how some of the most important activities work. So far, nothing has been announced concerning the hunt for Xur each week, but it will be worth keeping an eye on the future TWABs before Season 17 launches later this month.
